UNDOCUMENTED INDIVIDUALS:
In the Q & A session, the question was asked if there were insurance options for undocumented individuals.  For ADULTS, there is emergency insurance.  That is, if someone were to go to the emergency room with a life threatening illness or injury, they cannot be refused care.  Pregnant women are also covered.

For CHILDREN, there is insurance available through the KAISER CHILD HEALTH PROGRAM.  This program is housed at the Multnomah Education Service District, but it serves Clackamas County as well.  The contact name is:
Delia Morgan (Bilingual in Spanish)
Outreach & Eligibility Specialist / Multnomah Education Service District

Their referral form  can be filled out and FAX'd or you can access their online referral form at http://w3.mesd.k12.or.us/shs/form/childhealth/index.htm

UNINSURED AND UNDOCUMENTED ADULTS AND CHILDREN ARE WELCOME AT CLACKAMAS COUNTY HEALTH CLINICS, INCLUDING BEHAVIORAL HEALTH AND DENTAL.
